About The Position

The Migration Engineer is responsible for performing data migration from various EMR systems to new platforms or Ellkay data archiving solution LKOASIS. This role involves collaborating with the Project Manager to understand their requirements, developing migration plans, and ensuring timely project delivery. Data migration engineers will conduct data validation and testing to ensure accuracy, troubleshoot any issues that arise, and work closely with cross-functional teams to coordinate project deliverables. The ideal candidate will manage multiple projects simultaneously and contribute to continuous process improvements.

Requirements

2+ years Experience with data analysis and SQL.
Bachelor s degree Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Ability to exercise effective decision-making capabilities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities

Perform data migration of both structured and unstructured data from various EMR systems, ensuring seamless migration to new EMR platforms and archives.
DME will be main point of contact for assigned EMR data migration projects, responsible for ensuring all project timelines are met.
Collaborate with Project managers to understand their project scope, analyze their data, and develop a detailed delivery plan.
Coordinate project deliverables by working closely with various internal teams.
Proactively identify potential issues and implement resolution strategies to minimize any impact on the project.
Conduct data validation and testing to guarantee the accuracy and integrity of the migrated data.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to ensure on-time delivery
