About The Position
As the Data Management Specialist within the Product, Planning and Performance unit at OMWBE, you will play a vital role in managing the agency's data functions, working closely with a data analyst to support data-related responsibilities across agency programs and collaborating with leadership to identify performance metrics and develop tracking and reporting methods. In this role, you will serve as the subject matter expert in data reporting and visualization, leveraging tools such as Power BI, SQL databases, and other data warehouses. Your responsibilities will include ensuring IT systems are effectively designed to acquire, store, and retrieve data, managing data-sharing agreements and APIs to support system integration and compliance with statutory reporting, analyzing and transforming data to identify patterns and trends, and integrating multiple data sources. You will test, validate, and document data visualizations and processes while collaborating with stakeholders to meet data requirements and support the effective use of tools such as B2Gnow Contract Compliance module.
