About The Position

The position involves defining and prioritizing the product backlog, engaging with stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure alignment with project goals. The role requires creating specific JIRA tasks for the technology team, ensuring alignment with the product vision and leveraging synergies. The individual will serve as a stakeholder-facing Product Owner, synthesizing requirements and driving analysis through targeted questions, supported by workflow documents, scenario analysis, and wireframes. Close collaboration with other Product Owners is essential to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet scope requirements. The individual will take ownership of deliverables from the Book of Work and ensure their timely completion, lead cross-functional teams to enhance regulatory and compliance frameworks for enterprise-wide data solutions, and provide clear direction and vision to technology partners, testing teams, and stakeholders throughout the Agile Development Lifecycle. Responsibilities also include tracking defects, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing solutions to resolve issues, supporting the end-to-end user acceptance testing process. The role requires performing extensive data mining and analysis to support recommendations and inform necessary action items, developing, tracking, analyzing, and publishing project reports, summaries, scorecards, and performance trends, leading initiatives to reduce market data costs, and managing the onboarding process for new market and external vendor data providers.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Management, Systems Design, Computer Science, or related field plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
  • Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in the same fields plus 5 years of experience.
  • Three years of experience with end-to-end Agile project management.
  • Experience acting as a business Product Owner to translate stakeholder needs into actionable product features.
  • Experience managing and maintaining instrument reference data, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Experience ensuring compliance with industry regulations by integrating data privacy and security measures.
  • Experience collaborating with external market vendors such as Bloomberg or LSEG/Refinitiv.
  • Experience crafting detailed business requirements and grooming user stories.
  • Experience applying Agile methodologies, Roadmap Strategy, and Market Research.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams.
  • Experience utilizing testing tools, including Quality Center, Pivot tables, and V-lookups.
  • Experience managing and optimizing database systems, including MongoDB, MS SQL Server, and Oracle.
  • Experience implementing cloud-enabling technologies such as AWS.
  • Experience employing data analytics tools including Python, R, Google Analytics, Power BI, Tableau, and Amplitude.
