About The Position

The Weapons-St. Charles Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Organization is seeking an Associate, Experienced, or Lead Data Management Specialist to manage contractual data deliverables through interpretation, loading, scheduling, coordination, receipt, submittal, handling, and status reporting as well as working in accordance with data marking compliance requirements in St. Charles, Missouri. This role requires effective interaction with external customers and suppliers, engineering teams, and other organizations. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, business, or other technical field.
  • 1+ years of experience working in a professional environment.
  • 1+ years of experience working with databases.
  • For Associate (Level 2): Typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • For Experienced (Level 3): Typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • For Lead (Level 4): Typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior data management work experience.
  • Experience with contracts and documentation.
  • Familiarity with intellectual property subject matter.

Responsibilities

  • Development, documentation, implementation, and consultation for the application of engineering tools, processes, and standards.
  • Provide training in the utilization of processes and tools and support the integration of engineering data.
  • Identify and validate user access roles and tip sheets.
  • Support the development and implementation of standards.
  • Develop, maintain, and distribute engineering documents, reports, and correspondence to enable business activity.
  • Collect, analyze, and validate engineering performance metrics and coordinate organizational requirements to support business needs.
  • Review contracts, ensure responsible teams generate the required technical and business documents, and build metrics to show team progress.
