About The Position

The Data Engineer will play a key role in designing, building, and optimizing data pipelines that power analytics and business intelligence across the organization. This role involves developing and maintaining scalable ETL/ELT processes, managing data integration between Azure and Snowflake environments, and ensuring data quality, reliability, and performance. The ideal candidate is a hands-on data professional with strong SQL and Snowflake expertise, experience in Azure data tools, and a solid understanding of modern data architecture principles. The role requires close collaboration with analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to deliver clean, well-modeled, and accessible data for reporting and decision-making.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Medium to Strong hands-on experience with: Azure Data Tools (Power BI, Power Automate, Webhooks, etc.) SQL Database Snowflake Data Warehouse SQL development and optimization skills.
  • Familiarity with data modeling, ETL/ELT frameworks, and data lake architectures.
  • Experience using Python/C /C# .NET for data transformations.
  • Experience with Talend API Designer.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, agile environment.
  • Clear communication skills with both technical and non-technical teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Flow.
  • Familiarity with cloud cost optimization and Snowflake performance tuning.
  • Exposure to API-based data integration and streaming data.
  • Familiarity or Experience with API Development and Ops.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes for analytics and reporting.
  • Work with Azure Data Tools, SQL Server, and Snowflake to manage data ingestion and transformation.
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data models in Snowflake.
  • Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and error handling in data workflows.
  • Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand data requirements.
  • Support the migration of data from Azure VM SQL Server to Snowflake environments.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of data governance, metadata, and documentation.
