This position is for a database administrator with 10+ years of expertise in both Oracle & SQL Server RDBMS administration including Shell Scripting. The role involves various responsibilities including database architecture, design, and build for both Oracle and SQL Server, as well as managing cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure. The candidate will be expected to have deep knowledge of deploying, managing, and monitoring Oracle databases on these cloud platforms, including configuring and managing AWS RDS, EC2-based Oracle databases, and Azure SQL/Oracle on IaaS/VMs. Performance assessments and optimization specific to cloud-hosted databases are also key aspects of this role. Additionally, the position requires advanced troubleshooting skills, database upgrades, patching, migrations, and a strong understanding of database governance, security, and compliance.
