Hormel Foods Corporation is seeking a Data Management Analyst/Senior Data Management Analyst to join their Supply Chain team within Information Technology Services. This position is based in either Austin, MN or Willmar, MN, with a flexible work arrangement available in Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, and Illinois. The role focuses on ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and quality across the organization, particularly in supply chain data and processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset and a deep understanding of data management principles, driving data and process initiatives effectively.

  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality across the organization with a primary focus on supply chain data and processes.
  • Work with data stewards to resolve data quality issues in source systems.
  • Identify, prioritize, and deploy enterprise data standards and processes in collaboration with data owners.
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for data anomalies and issues.
  • Implement data quality standards, procedures, and validation & cleansing rules.
  • Develop and implement data quality metrics and automated monitoring processes.
  • Leverage data management tools to profile and analyze data.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and contribute to data governance policies.
  • Develop and implement data governance policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Coordinate activities among project teams and data governance working groups.
  • Recommend and lead process and data improvement activities.
  • Communicate master data management (MDM) strategies and initiatives to stakeholders.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve data quality issues across assigned data domains.
  • Leverage tools and technologies to support data management activities.
  • A bachelor's degree.
  • Functional and/or technical experience with supply chain data and processes in manufacturing or CPG organizations.
  • 3+ years of experience in data quality, data management, data governance, or related discipline.
  • Proven experience working with technical and functional team members.
  • In-depth knowledge of data quality concepts, tools, and best practices.
  • Experience with data processing languages such as PL/SQL, SQL, etc.
  • Excellent data profiling & analysis skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
  • Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States.
  • Certification in data discipline, MDM or related field.
  • Experience with data quality and governance tools.
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Master Data.
