Job Summary: Rakuten International is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Analyst to join our cybersecurity team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the implementation, management, and optimization of our DLP programs, leveraging tools such as Code42, ZScaler, and Microsoft Purview. This role is crucial in protecting sensitive data, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations, and preventing data breaches. In this role, you will be responsible for protecting the organization's digital assets by identifying, analyzing, and mitigating security risks and vulnerabilities. You will monitor network activity, investigate security incidents, and implement security measures to safeguard sensitive information. Your role includes conducting risk assessments, developing security protocols, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Collaborating with IT and business teams, you will provide guidance on security best practices and work to enhance the organization's overall security posture.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years Required 5-7 years Preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree Required
  • Master's Degree Preferred
  • CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Upon Hire Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Administers security tools and technologies, ensuring they operate effectively to protect organizational assets and data.
  • Analyzes somewhat complex security incidents and vulnerabilities, developing strategies for remediation and risk mitigation.
  • Applies knowledge of security best practices to enhance existing security protocols and frameworks within the organization.
  • Communicates security policies and procedures to staff, fostering a culture of security awareness and compliance.
  • Conducts routine security assessments and audits to evaluate the effectiveness of controls and identify areas for improvement.
  • Documents security incidents and responses, maintaining accurate records to support compliance and reporting requirements.
  • Coordinates somewhat complex security projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion and adherence to standards.
  • Designs somewhat complex security solutions to address identified vulnerabilities, enhancing the organization’s overall security posture.
  • Examines security logs and alerts, debugging potential issues and escalating significant findings to senior analysts for further investigation.
