We’re looking for an experienced data architect like you to deliver leading-edge solutions for warfighters. As a data architect on our mission team, you’ll use your extensive technical expertise to design data architecture solutions for geospatial and non-geospatial data sets. You’ll resolve routine data architecture- related issues in collaboration with business analysts and technology teams by working with project staff to make decisions and recommendations on future data architecture developments. In this role, you’ll grow your technical expertise, apply best practices, and guide your team as it designs, defines, develops, and tests cloud solution components. You’ll serve as a liaison between clients and developers to ensure that requirements are met and solutions are delivered. Join us. The world can’t wait.

Requirements

  • Experience developing and managing data governance frameworks, implementing met adata and data cataloging solutions, and ensuring compliance with DoD and IC data security policies
  • Experience in ETL processes, data structuring, and schema management, including ESRI geospatial data layers, ArcGIS Enterprise, and cloud-based geospatial services
  • Experience with tools such as Databricks Unity Catalog, Collibra, Alation, AWS Glue, or Azure Purview
  • TS / SCI clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Management, Information Science, or Computer Science, or 5+ years of experience in data governance in lieu of a degree

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in DoW or IC environments
  • Experience with the RMF or ATO process
  • Certified Data Management Professional ( CDMP ) , DAMA Certified Data Governance Professional ( DGSP ) , or Micro sof t Certified: Azure Data Engineer Asso cia te Certification
