About The Position
We are looking for a driven team member to contribute to the development of our Autopilot & Full Self Driving software at Tesla to accelerate the world's transition to sustainable energy. This person will be responsible for labeling images and videos that contribute to our deep learning network. In this role, you will work with in-house tools to label data coming directly from the Tesla fleet of vehicles. No previous experience in AI or data labeling is required, making this an excellent entry-level opportunity. The ideal candidate for this role is adaptable, can apply logic to multiple different scenarios, is attentive to detail, has experience with computers and other software, and enjoys a fast-paced work environment. Our team provides all onsite training to help you be successful in this role. The position offers three different shift options: Option 1 is Monday through Friday, Option 2 is Wednesday through Sunday, and Option 3 is Saturday through Wednesday, with working hours from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. You will use in-house tools to label images for the Autopilot team, interact with team members to help improve the design of an efficient labeling interface, and gain basic computer vision and machine learning knowledge to better understand how the labels are used by our learning algorithms. Additionally, you will be required to make judgment calls on difficult edge cases that might arise during labeling.
