Position Summary The Data Integrity Analyst plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of McKesson’s enterprise data—including AI‑generated, automated, and digitized outputs. In this role, you will execute structured data integrity validations, identify discrepancies, and document findings to support remediation and continuous improvement. Working within established standards and processes, the Data Integrity Analyst partners with data, analytics, and operations teams to ensure that data is trustworthy and fit for business use.

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • Typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience in data quality, data validation, data operations, or analytical roles.
  • Experience reviewing system‑generated, automated, or AI‑enabled data outputs.
  • Strong attention to detail and consistency when applying validation rules and standards.
  • Ability to interpret source documents, follow defined procedures, and accurately document observations.
  • Clear written communication for documenting issues and summarizing findings.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with data, technical, and business stakeholders.
  • Comfort escalating anomalies and seeking guidance when needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to AI‑enabled systems, OCR tools, or digitization workflows.
  • Familiarity with data quality dimensions such as accuracy, completeness, consistency, and timeliness.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and basic data analysis functions.
  • Experience working with structured datasets and performing validation checks.

Responsibilities

  • Data Integrity Validation Perform routine and ad‑hoc data integrity checks on automated, AI‑generated, and digitized datasets.
  • Validate data against source documentation, defined business rules, and quality standards.
  • Identify, document, and categorize data discrepancies and integrity issues.
  • Issue Documentation & Resolution Support Maintain clear documentation, validation evidence, and issue logs to support remediation efforts.
  • Provide data examples and findings to senior analysts or governance partners to support root‑cause analysis.
  • Monitor data corrections, verify resolution, and ensure issues are closed appropriately.
  • Quality Governance & Standards Participate in calibration activities to ensure consistent application of quality and integrity standards across reviewers.
  • Assist in maintaining data integrity procedures, validation checklists, and reference documentation.
  • Escalate issues that fall outside defined thresholds or require subject‑matter review.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration Collaborate with technical and business teams to clarify data requirements and understand upstream processes affecting data quality.
  • Communicate findings clearly and professionally, ensuring partners understand issues and recommended next steps.
