About The Position

The Data Integration Specialist at Bioventus is responsible for serving as the primary technical and functional point of contact for Kinaxis RapidResponse within the organization. This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining integrations between RapidResponse and various internal and external systems to ensure seamless data flow and enhance collaboration across platforms. The position requires a strong understanding of supply chain planning processes and the ability to provide creative solutions to complex business challenges.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 6 years of technology experience, including 5 years in Supply Chain Planning.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with Kinaxis RapidResponse as an Integration Specialist or Consultant.
  • Experience in linking cross-functional databases and utilizing middleware for integrations.
  • Experience with business and technical requirements analysis, business process modeling, and data mapping.
  • Knowledge of data integration architectures, including SOAP, REST, XML, JSON, and FTP; experience in programming languages like Java or JavaScript.
  • Proficiency with T-SQL and related technologies, including MS SQL Server and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
  • Deep understanding of supply chain and demand planning processes, with integration experience interfacing with ERP systems.
  • Expertise in integrating Rapid Response with host ERP systems for inbound and outbound interfaces.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Boomi or other middleware solutions.
  • Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and SQL.
  • Exposure to ETL and Messaging Applications.

Responsibilities

  • Develops data models and data mapping to support data movement between RapidResponse and the ERP system for supply chain planning.
  • Collaborates with business users to gather requirements, design solutions, and develop integrations with error handling and clear documentation.
  • Leads optimization and updates of the Kinaxis ERP system across all functions.
  • Provides creative solutions to complex business problems while maintaining best practices and incorporating testing and change management.
  • Maintains a deep understanding of the Kinaxis system and conducts thorough testing and troubleshooting.
  • Creates interface designs, mapping documents, and test scripts, managing daily troubleshooting of integration incidents.
  • Continuously monitors and evaluates the performance of the Kinaxis system, making recommendations for improvements.
  • Proactively identifies and mitigates risks related to the Kinaxis system.
  • Maintains documentation and standard operating procedures for the Kinaxis system.
  • Collaborates with Audit & Risk Management to identify business risks and develop preventive strategies.
