About The Position

The Data Intelligence Manager– Finance & Integration Systems plays a critical role in ensuring dnata Catering’s financial data and system integrations operate with precision, accuracy, and efficiency across the U.S. network. This position serves as the key liaison between Finance, IT, and Operations to ensure the seamless integration and performance of financial and business systems. The Data Intelligence Manager will analyze and troubleshoot data variances, lead integration investigations, and develop reporting tools that enhance financial transparency and decision-making. The ideal candidate is a technically skilled, detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of financial data flows, ERP environments, and integration logic between accounting, EDI, and reporting systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field required.
  • 4–6 years of experience in data analysis, financial systems integration, or ERP reporting.
  • Proven experience supporting system integrations or data reconciliation in a financial or operational environment.
  • Strong proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Exenta, Oracle, or equivalent).
  • Advanced Excel and Power BI skills (including data modeling and visualization).
  • Familiarity with EDI, APIs, or system mapping tools.
  • Financial acumen with data-driven mindset.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to translate complex data findings into actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of SQL or similar query-based languages preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize data integrations between core financial systems (ERP, EDI platforms, third-party systems, and reporting tools).
  • Monitor and reconcile data transmission between finance and operational systems to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Partner with IT to design and validate integration workflows, system logic, and automation rules.
  • Conduct detailed investigations into integration errors, financial variances, and data discrepancies.
  • Perform root-cause analysis and collaborate with Finance and IT to implement permanent corrective actions.
  • Maintain logs of system incidents, change requests, and resolutions for audit and process improvement.
  • Develop financial data dashboards and reports that support strategic decision-making.
  • Generate exception, variance, and integrity reports for leadership review.
  • Partner with the Vice President of Finance to translate complex financial data into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance financial system processes and data flow between platforms.
  • Support the testing, validation, and deployment of new ERP features, financial modules, or integration enhancements.
  • Work cross-functionally with Finance and Operations to streamline data collection and reporting accuracy.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate financial controls, data privacy standards, and audit requirements.
  • Maintain detailed system documentation, SOPs, and data governance guidelines.
  • Support Finance in preparing system data for internal and external audits.
  • Own the integration and performance of dnata’s financial data ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and IT to ensure system-generated financial data aligns with general ledger and reporting standards.
  • Lead investigations into integration or reporting discrepancies and provide documented findings and recommendations.
  • Design reports and visual dashboards that highlight KPIs, data integrity, and performance trends.
  • Maintain ERP data quality (master data, cost centers, financial hierarchies, and EDI mapping).
  • Support month-end close data validation, ensuring financial reports reflect complete and accurate data.
