Requirements

  • 8+ years experience and demonstrates consistent track record of having worked as a Program or Project Manager, or working on large, strategic cross-functional projects
  • 5+ years of experience in Banking or Finance preferred
  • 5+ years experience and strong business analysis competency with historic success in shaping opportunities via conceptual thinking and abstract problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
  • Management and facilitation to achieve objectives, with both local and with remote teams
  • Program / project management of complex, cross-enterprise initiatives delivered under short timeframes
  • Strong interpersonal, influencing and leadership skills across levels of seniority to mobilize and motivate delivery in a co-operative and collaborative working environment across trading and support/infrastructure/control functions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, to effectively produce procedural documentation and communicate with senior management.
  • Knowledge of, and experience in, analyzing legislative and regulatory texts, and associated legal analysis
  • Understanding of the development and application of project standards
  • Knowledge and experience with structured project management techniques

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for the successful program management of Use Cases, programs / projects in the Enterprise Data Office Program Office book of work
  • Manage complex, time sensitive, business critical programs / projects across multiple businesses and functions, including the five businesses, Risk, Finance, and Compliance.
  • Proactively identify and resolve delivery problems. Identify, prioritize and proactively manage dependencies, risks, exceptions and issues
  • Provide content-led program / project management to lead teams of subject matter experts to execute committed projects, design and implement solutions.
  • Matrix manage teams across businesses/functions to successfully deliver programs / projects
  • Lead, supervise, coach and develop junior EDO Program Office team members.
  • Effectively communicate with internal stakeholders of varying seniority and external stakeholders, including clients and regulators
  • Develop and deliver presentations to EDO Program Office and senior management covering project / program status and plans
