Syneos Health Consulting is a strategic consultancy within a large clinical and commercial biopharmaceutical services organization. We provide strategic consulting for global life sciences business functions, including Market Access, Medical Affairs, Commercialization, Research & Development, and Risk Management & Quality. These strategic consulting engagements are enabled by a cross-functional Data and AI team. The Data & AI team is hiring Data Insights Consultants to work directly with clients, business leaders, and data scientists to drive value and outcomes from Data Analytics and AI services. The Data Insight Consultants will: * Interpret client business needs and translate those into analytic approaches and frameworks to execute analytics alongside data scientists. * Work directly with clients on projects, translating the analysis from the data scientists into business insights and strategic recommendations. * Discuss and determine with clients which specific data is best to perform the necessary analysis; develop expertise in syndicated and proprietary data products. * Support data analytics business development requests, tailoring sample analytics for pitch meetings and providing insights that are tailored to client business need. * Maintain an expertise in real world data analytics and understanding of billing and diagnosis codes-ICDs, CPTs, HCPCs-and EHR taxonomies-SNOMED, LOINC, etc. * Communicate the data results to the client, with an emphasis on answering the business question as opposed to the analytical and reporting processes used. * Evaluate, assess and synthesis the data necessary to provide solutions to the client's particular strategic business questions. * Develop expertise focused on specific therapeutic area. * Be available for clients during regular working hours.
