Northrop Grumman's Digital HR Reporting & Analytics team consists of analysts who use technology and in-platform reporting to inform our most important people decisions and enable an industry leading employee experience. We are seeking a Data Insight Analyst to join our Digital HR Reporting & Analytics team remotely, or in Falls Church, Virginia. This position can be hired as a Level 2 or Level 3, depending upon the incumbent's experience and education. As a Workday Data Insight Analyst you will: Be at the forefront of Northrop Grumman's ongoing digital transformation journey by delivering capabilities that will drive the insights and behavior of leaders Grow and expand your proficiency in Workday reporting and analytics capabilities Collaborate with and learn from a supportive, high performing team of professionals with opportunities to learn more about and influence the modeling and analytics being used by Northrop Grumman leaders to guide people decisions Gain exposure to people operations of a Fortune 100 company Report to the Digital HR Reporting Product Owner and be a key member of the Digital HR Reporting & Analytics team

Requirements

  • Level 2 - Bachelor's degree in a related discipline, and at least 2 years of relevant experience; 0 years with a Masters' degree
  • Level 3 - Bachelor's degree in a related discipline, and at least 5 years of relevant experience; 3 years with a Masters' degree
  • Demonstrated experience of using analytics to inform business decisions
  • Demonstrated experience with advanced reporting in non-Workday tools (e.g., pivot tables/formulas in Excel)
  • Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time

Nice To Haves

  • You have experience as an HR professional
  • Workday Reporting Analytics and/or Workday Prism experience preferred
  • You have experience working with human capital management systems and/or Workday
  • You have experience with Tableau, SQL, and/or other analytics/reporting tools (e.g., R, Python)
  • You have 3 Years of experience with a bachelors degree or 1 Year of experience with a Masters

Responsibilities

  • Developing reporting & analytics solutions within Workday both independently and in collaboration with other Workday team members
  • Responding to ad hoc data delivery requests and troubleshooting user issues
  • Researching new Workday reporting & analytics features and determining how best to meet user needs
  • Educating end users on Workday reports and dashboards
  • Applying your knowledge of Northrop Grumman people data, Workday product resources (e.g., Workday Community), and the collective knowledge of our high-performing Workday team to collaborate on solutions
  • Partnering with stakeholders and end users to identify pain points and discover opportunities for how you can delight users with new ways of viewing and interacting with data
  • Creating, testing, demoing, and seeking feedback on the reports and dashboards that you design
