About The Position

Overview of BLOC: We are an inner city ministry that lives and works in the neighborhoods we serve. Our mission exists to build relationships with our neighbors and share hope in brokenness. We target neighborhoods that are underserved. We have a staff size of about 45 where we have after school programs, sports performance center, houses for women in sex trafficking, men and women transitional homes, two coffee shops, screen printing, and other forms of ministry to love our neighbors. Position Summary: The Data Impact Coordinator interprets data to evaluate the effectiveness and impact of the nonprofit’s programs. This role ensures that program outcomes are measured accurately and consistently, enabling data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, experienced in both quantitative and qualitative data collection, and passionate about demonstrating mission-driven impact.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Public Policy, Statistics, Nonprofit Management, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in program evaluation, data analysis, or outcomes measurement in a nonprofit or social sector setting.
  • Proficiency with data tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, SPSS, R, or Tableau; experience with survey platforms like SurveyMonkey or Qualtrics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data to non-technical audiences.
  • Commitment to the mission and values of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement tools and systems to monitor and evaluate program performance and outcomes.
  • Collect and manage program data
  • Analyze program data to assess impact, identify trends, and inform strategic planning.
  • Collaborate with program staff to define success metrics, outcomes, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Create regular reports and visual dashboards to communicate findings to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support grant reporting and fundraising efforts with accurate program data and impact stories.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security in all evaluation activities.
  • Provide training and support to program staff on data collection methods and evaluation best practices.
  • Stay current on evaluation methodologies and recommend improvements to existing systems.
