Help us transform our workforce of the future, today. We are seeking a Data Governance - Technology Manager to join Zions Bancorporation. The Data Governance - Technology Manager plays a key role in ensuring that our technology practices align with regulatory requirements and industry standards, driving the strategic direction of technology governance, and fostering a culture of compliance and risk management across the organization. This role will have a significant impact on maintaining the integrity and security of our technology operations, ensuring that we continue to deliver exceptional service to our clients and community.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in technology governance, risk management, or compliance.
  • In depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., ISO, NIST, GDPR).
  • Proven experience in leading risk assessments and audits.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISA, CRISC, CGEIT) are a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field; master's degree preferred.
  • A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement technology governance frameworks and policies.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Build and establish a robust technology governance function across all technology domains.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate governance practices into technology projects.
  • Monitor and report on technology governance metrics and KPIs.
  • Provide guidance and training to staff on governance policies and procedures.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
  • Drive continuous improvement in technology governance practices.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of documentation related to technology governance.
  • Other duties as assigned.
