About The Position

The Data Governance SME (Subject Matter Expert) will play a crucial role in supporting the definition and implementation of data governance policies in alignment with the Department of Defense's Zero Trust Strategy. This position requires a strong ability to translate business requirements into effective data governance policies, as well as maintaining the Data Catalog and Business Glossary. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data governance and familiarity with tools like Collibra, along with a background in cyber security.

Requirements

• 6 years of experience in Zero Trust cyber security functions.
• 6 years of experience in Data Governance Implementation.
• 6 years of experience in Data Policy Definition and Implementation.
• 6 years of experience in Data Cataloging.
• 6 years of experience with Collibra.
• 6 years of experience in Data Provenance.
• 6 years of experience in Cyber Security.
• 6 years of experience in Data Security.
• 6 years of experience in Data Governance Transition/Setup.
• Background experience in Configuring Collibra.

• Experience with cyber security best practices.
