Job Description Technical Product Managers at U.S. Bank oversee the strategic product management for an assigned technical product line(s) in support of the Enterprise organization’s goals and market needs. Engages with key stakeholders to define, document, and prioritize features; ensures delivery of marketable capabilities for all U.S. Bank engineering teams while collaborating with agile teams. As a Technical Product Manager, you will: -Aligns the strategic vision with cross-functional stakeholders to shape outcome-based product roadmap, product risk, investment areas and success measures. -Drives product development with ownership of backlog and actively engages cross-functional stakeholders to enable faster speed to market. -Manages across Enterprise users to define and deliver product performance goals (e.g., outcomes, customer experience, etc.). -Owns all engagement for assigned technical portfolio regarding the SDLC, e.g., adoption, collaboration. -Develops, analyses, monitors, and reports on performance metrics from internal and external sources to identify key trends and opportunities for continuous improvement. -Uses performance metrics to drive towards progress on identified strategies and initiatives. -Leverages OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) to drive roadmap priorities Governance Ecosystem Product Manager will shape and drive the strategy for governance solutions across enterprise platforms and multi-cloud environments. This role focuses on ensuring compliance, security, and operational integrity while enabling seamless interoperability and delivering measurable business value. Success in this position requires strong product management skills, a solid understanding of governance frameworks, financial oversight, and the ability to engage stakeholders effectively to deliver enterprise-ready governance capabilities.

Requirements

  • Technical Product Management experience
  • 10+ years in product management or governance-related roles.
  • Strong knowledge of governance frameworks, compliance standards (GDPR, HIPAA, SOX), and risk management practices.
  • Experience with multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and enterprise-scale governance solutions.
  • Depth of experience in Collibra, Databricks Unity Catalog, and Snowflake technologies
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies and product management tools (Jira, Confluence).

Responsibilities

  • Define and own the product integration vision, roadmap, and backlog for governance initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Design and implement governance models, policies, and standards for data management, access control, and compliance across AWS, Azure, and hybrid environments.
  • Monitor compliance adherence, identify risks, and drive remediation strategies to maintain governance maturity and regulatory alignment.
  • Partner with program, engineering, architecture, security, and business teams to integrate governance capabilities into enterprise solutions.
  • Manage budgets, forecast costs for licenses and infrastructure, and track KPIs for governance effectiveness and operational performance.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies for governance automation and reporting, lead proof-of-concepts, and promote adoption of governance platforms.
  • Champion Agile methodologies and ensure disciplined use of Jira for backlog management, sprint planning, and progress tracking.
  • Enterprise-wide alignment of governance frameworks with business and technology objectives.
  • Integration of governance tools and processes across AWS, Azure, and hybrid ecosystems.
  • Risk mitigation and compliance adherence, reducing exposure to regulatory penalties.
  • Operational efficiency and cost control through standardized governance practices.
