About The Position
The position involves assisting with the development and implementation of procedures for data governance, collaborating with various teams including business, data engineering, and data product teams to operationalize data governance. Responsibilities include measuring, reporting, and monitoring data management practices, fostering a data governance culture, and providing training and guidance to employees. Additionally, the role encompasses data quality and defect management, where the individual will assist with data quality requirements, identify opportunities for improvement, and manage the data defect process. The position also requires the development and maintenance of record retention policies and procedures to align with industry standards and legal requirements, acting as the Record Coordinator for Compliance, Control, and Risk (CCR).
