Requirements

  • 4-year college degree or equivalent job experience.
  • Must be self-motivated with a high degree of initiative
  • Strong PC skills required and experience with reporting tools such as SQL preferred
  • Strong analysis skills required
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a wide span of roles as well as technology experts.
  • Experience across business functional areas including retail preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Must possess a strong sense of urgency and be very detailed oriented.
  • Skilled in analytical problem-solving.
  • Ability to handle challenges and adapt to change.

Responsibilities

  • Manage controls for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Programs and WIC that qualify item eligibility at retail
  • Direct impact on participants’ ability to access food and associated customer sales
  • Ensure exceptions are addressed and preventative steps are taken to avoid loss of licenses in stores
  • Communicate with government agencies to identify changes to authorized items specific to each state
  • Perform item level mapping relationships for new Produce UPCs to ensure purchase validations are correct
  • Analyze new WIC opportunities with very tight deadlines and extensive criteria including nutrition and ingredients
  • Compile and submit required data in agency specific formats for approvals
  • Support retail stores in resolving SNAP and WIC issues requiring urgent responses.
  • Provide merchandising support for shelf communication at retail
  • Support new Shelf Tag formats required to present promotional opportunities to customers
