About The Position

Parsons is looking for a talented Data Engineer / Data Scientist to join our growing team! This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to mission-critical projects by leveraging advanced data engineering and data science methodologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our data-driven operations.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in data engineering or data science, along with a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, or a related field
Active TS/SCI with CI Poly
Deep understanding of data engineering best practices, cloud technologies, and data analysis techniques, as well as proficiency in relevant programming languages and tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
An active Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph security clearance is required for this position.

Responsibilities

Support large-scale data ingestion into our AWS cloud infrastructure
Ensuring the efficient and secure ingestion, normalization, and analysis of vast amounts of data to support our advanced analytics and decision-making processes.
Designing and implementing robust data pipelines to ingest and process large volumes of data from diverse sources into our AWS cloud environment
Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain data models, perform data normalization, and ensure data quality and integrity
Interact with various stakeholders and team members to ensure that all data solutions meet mission requirements and adhere to best practice
