About The Position

Parsons is looking for a talented Data Engineer / Data Scientist to join our growing team! This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to mission-critical projects by leveraging advanced data engineering and data science methodologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our data-driven operations.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering or data science.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, or a related field.
• Active TS/SCI with CI Poly.
• Deep understanding of data engineering best practices, cloud technologies, and data analysis techniques.
• Proficiency in relevant programming languages and tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support large-scale data ingestion into our AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Ensure the efficient and secure ingestion, normalization, and analysis of vast amounts of data to support our advanced analytics and decision-making processes.
• Design and implement robust data pipelines to ingest and process large volumes of data from diverse sources into our AWS cloud environment.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain data models, perform data normalization, and ensure data quality and integrity.
• Interact with various stakeholders and team members to ensure that all data solutions meet mission requirements and adhere to best practices.
