As a Data Expert within PNC's Enterprise Credit Portfolio Analytics organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland, OH, Tysons Corner, VA, or Strongsville, OH. The Enterprise Credit Portfolio Analytics team delivers rapid, high impact analytical solutions to support business decision making. This role focuses on translating incoming business requests into actionable analytics, partnering closely with technology teams, and delivering prototypes and production ready solutions within short timelines. The ideal candidate brings strong data and analytics expertise, a portfolio level mindset, and comfort working with modern tools and AI enabled capabilities. Manages and develops information systems for clients; conducts data information analysis for a variety of studies under the direction of organizational standards. Develops strategies for data implementation, data acquisition, and archive recovery. Helps advise business, applications and operations counterparts to ensure data integrity and availability. Structures the environment and creates logical storage units especially for size and physical locations, to map database elements into logical units. Implements and supports technologies for managing and effectively utilizing multiple information sources, formats and uses. Resolves data integration and security issues for adherence to the organization's quality standards. Researches customers needs, conducts awareness and promotional sessions for potential customers. Requirements

  • Strong foundational expertise in data and analytics, including data sourcing, modeling, and analysis
  • Proven ability to develop end to end analytical solutions from concept through production
  • Experience translating business context, intent, and constraints into effective analytical designs
  • Hands on experience with modern analytics and low code platforms (e.g., Power BI, Power Apps, workflow or automation tools)
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills with a context driven, business first approach
  • Ability to work effectively in fast paced, request driven environments
  • Successful candidates must demonstrate appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities for a role.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to incoming analytics and data requests with urgency, delivering solutions within defined timelines
  • Partner with technology and engineering teams to develop, refine, and deploy analytical solutions
  • Translate ambiguous business questions into clear analytical approaches and defensible insights
  • Design, build, and prototype analytics solutions, then support transition into production environments
  • Apply portfolio level analysis to support credit and commercial decision making
  • Identify opportunities to improve, automate, or reimagine existing analytics and business processes
  • Leverage modern analytics, low code, and automation tools to create scalable, practical solutions
  • Incorporate AI enabled features responsibly to enhance analytics, workflows, and decision support
