Data Evangelist Intern

You'll play a key role in transforming data into insights that drive decision-making across the organization. In this role, you'll collect, organize, and analyze data from multiple sources to uncover meaningful trends and opportunities that shape our strategies and storytelling. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, leveraging your technical and analytical skills to automate data-gathering processes, validate findings, and present insights through clear reports, visualizations, and dashboards. Beyond the numbers, you'll help bring our data to life-contributing to blog posts and content initiatives that showcase DataCamp's thought leadership in data science and analytics. Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science
- Comfortable working with data - collecting, cleaning, and analyzing it.
- Experience with Python and/or SQL (bonus if you've used APIs or web scraping libraries).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an interest in data storytelling.
Responsibilities
- Conduct data collection and research across multiple sources to support analytical projects.
- Identify, extract, and integrate relevant datasets from internal and external APIs.
- Perform web scraping and automate data-gathering processes where applicable.
- Clean, organize, and validate raw data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Analyze quantitative data to uncover trends, insights, and opportunities.
- Summarize findings into clear reports, visualizations, or dashboards.
- Support the creation of blog posts or articles by contributing data-driven insights and visual content.
