About the position
The Mfg Data Entry Clerk position is responsible for processing multiple transactions within the accounting system, ensuring proper documentation during the order process, and maintaining accurate system information throughout the production process. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to follow established systems to support manufacturing operations effectively.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all manufacturing orders are received accurately after orders are shipped to Pro Products
- Ensure all manufacturing orders are posted to the general ledger accurately
- Maintain monthly invoicing and 100% accurate reconciliation to Pro Products
- Update all scrap reports daily
- Update all ink and material usage reports daily
- Ensure Production departments are adhering to timelines
- Assist with various accounting (including cost accounting) projects
- Miscellaneous projects as requested by management
Requirements
- Heavy data entry experience, timely and accurate
- Ability to read and write English to produce reports and correspondence
- Computer skills including word processing and spreadsheet applications
- Proficiency in math
- Proven ability to problem solve
Nice-to-haves
- Bilingual preferred
- Great Plains experience
- Manufacturing background a plus
