About The Position

The Data Entry Team Leader is responsible for assisting with training Demographics employees and troubleshooting any minor issues that arise. This is a working Demographic position and will also support and maintain all demographic information for each territory and related tasks.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Data entry
Previous medical office background helpful
Must have demonstrated leadership ability.
We will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States.
Any offer of employment is conditional upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen.

Responsibilities

Assists Document Manager with training, developing and motivating employees.
Continually improve current processes and procedures.
Give feedback and report weekly on department issues to the Document Manager.
Support manager and helps lead by example and set the pace of the workflow for the department.
Assist with communication of team goals/deadlines and identify areas for new training or skill checks.
Assist management with hiring processes and new team member training.
Answer team member questions, help with team member problems, and review quality and quantity of work.
Data entry of patient demographics/responsible party/insurance /facility/referring provider and any other information pertain to patient billing and general information.
Attach medical records to patient chart.
Update patient status
Actively supports and complies with all components of the compliance program, including, but not limited to, completion of training and reporting suspected violations of law and Company policy.
Maintains confidentiality of all information; abides with HIPAA and PHI guidelines at all times.
Reacts positively to change and performs other duties as assigned.
