About The Position

The Data Entry Supervisor I position at Sonitrol Data Services is designed to oversee the daily operations of the data services team within Securitas Technology. This role is pivotal in managing the incoming workload, providing support to the team, and addressing escalated customer or data services-related issues. As a working supervisor, the individual will dedicate a significant portion of their time—approximately 60%—to production tasks, which include handling incoming calls and addressing backlog work. The supervisor will also be responsible for performing quality checks and conducting monthly one-on-one meetings with assigned team members to ensure performance standards are met and to provide necessary feedback and support. In addition to daily supervision, the role encompasses various responsibilities such as monitoring employee performance and productivity, managing break times, overtime, and staffing levels using workforce management tools. The supervisor will handle escalated customer complaints and quality issues, assist in training new hires, and create and update internal work instructions (IWIs) to streamline processes. Collaboration with other Data Services Supervisors and participation in leadership activities are also essential components of this position, ensuring that the team operates cohesively and effectively. The ideal candidate for this role must be self-motivated, well-organized, and possess strong leadership skills. They should be capable of working independently as well as part of a team to achieve set goals and manage daily operations efficiently.
