Requirements
- Efficient and accurate data entry skills required.
- Requires outstanding attention to detail and focus on quality control.
- A minimum of 2 years of data entry experience
- Strong computer skills - MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, etc.)
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Nice To Haves
- Dermatopathology or anatomic pathology experience is highly preferred.
- Medical Terminology is a plus.
- Degrees in Biologic Science a plus.
Responsibilities
- Prioritizing specimens based on a set of criteria.
- Entering patient information on a specimen-by-specimen basis.
- Identifying discrepancies and errors, taking corrective actions, and communicating to the appropriate party for corrections.
- Managing daily workload and assisting the processing supervisor in delegating excess workloads.
- Any additional duties will be delegated by management.
