About the position

The Data Entry Specialist position at Rincon Family Services is responsible for ensuring that grant and contract service provisions meet established standards of reporting, quality, and compliance requirements. This role involves collaboration with various staff members to support programmatic, operational, and fiscal requirements. The position requires continuous knowledge development regarding industry regulations and best practices, as well as the ability to review reports for compliance and support program directors during audits.

Responsibilities

  • Engage in continuous knowledge development regarding industry regulations, best practices, tools, techniques, and performance standards for existing, developing, and new programs.
  • Review required reports and other documents for contract and internal data compliance requirements, focusing on deliverables and performance measures.
  • Support program Directors, operations, and program staff during on-site audits with data collection and reporting.
  • Review audit data and work with program directors to implement corrective action plans.
  • Interpret, implement, and evaluate quality assurance data standards.
  • Collect and compile statistical quality data to prepare reports and communicate outcomes of quality improvement activities.
  • Develop and implement tracking systems to monitor organizational compliance with licenses, staff credentials, grants, contracts, and reports.
  • Participate in various organization committees to share and collect data for corrective actions.
  • Input and maintain accurate information into databases or systems.
  • Ensure that data is organized, up-to-date, and easily accessible.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience required; master’s preferred.
  • Previous experience working in non-profit social services preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Excel, the rest of the Microsoft Office Suite (Office 365), Adobe Pro, the Internet, multiple EHRs, and general data entry.
  • Excellent ability to work independently and collaboratively on multiple projects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Resourceful and well organized.
  • Experience involving data collection, research, analysis planning, and report writing.
  • Ability to adapt and implement changing compliance requirements.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
