Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework preferred.
  • 1+ year of experience in data entry, data processing, clerical support, or administrative roles.
  • Strong typing and data accuracy skills (high attention to detail is essential).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and electronic data management tools.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment or collaboratively onsite.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with medical or healthcare records is a plus but not required.
  • Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems or healthcare documentation.
  • Ability to handle sensitive patient data with discretion.
  • Strong multitasking and time-management skills for both onsite and remote workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately process and input patient records, surgical procedure data, billing information, and departmental forms.
  • Review, verify, and validate incoming data for completeness and accuracy.
  • Identify and correct discrepancies through communication with clinical, scheduling, and billing teams.
  • Maintain databases, spreadsheets, and electronic record systems with high attention to detail.
  • Ensure data integrity through routine quality control checks and documentation validation.
  • Handle confidential patient information in compliance with HIPAA and internal security standards.
  • Participate in remote workflow meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews as needed.
  • Stay organized and maintain consistent daily productivity, whether working onsite or in a remote environment.
