Responsibilities

Data entry and problem solving with pharmacists to deliver accurate prescription information.
Collecting and entering information required for timely and accurate processing of prescription orders.
Reviewing medication orders and prescriptions.
Providing customer service to patients.
Contacting insurers to clarify coverage.
Entering medication histories and maintaining records.
Filling prescriptions accurately according to state and federal laws.
Processing customer payments and resolve billing discrepancies.
Reading and interpreting prescriptions and pharmaceutical literature.
Other reasonable duties as assigned by manager.
