Job Title Data Entry Operator - 2nd Shift What does a Data Entry Operator do? You will be responsible for capturing information from mail pieces that have been returned as undeliverable. The on-screen prompts guide you through the process according to client specifications.
Requirements
- Type 25-30 words per minute.
- Read and comprehend basic work- related written and verbal instructions, in English.
- Good organization skills.
- Ability to lift between 15 and 20 pounds.
- Ability to push / pull mail carts and shred bins.
Responsibilities
- Accurately input cardholder data into the RAPID or return mail databases.
- Operate a label printer, barcode scanner, and card reader.
- File mail according to final disposition of mail piece.
- Perform quality checks.
- Verify accurate material is used.
- Troubleshooting to resolve machine and job-related problems.
- Participating in team cross-training.
- Maintaining clean work area.
