About The Position

The Data Entry Operator II performs data entry and document processing tasks requiring experience and judgment in selecting appropriate procedures. This role interprets and codes information from a variety of document sources and ensures accurate data entry into designated systems. The position may also perform routine tasks comparable to those assigned to a Data Entry Operator I when required. Requirements

  • Approximately four (4) or more years of experience in data entry or related clerical support roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and code information from varied document sources.
  • Experience applying procedural judgment within established guidelines.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in data entry systems and standard computer applications.
  • Ability to manage repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work under general supervision.
  • Associate’s Degree required;OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Enter data from varied source documents into designated computer systems.
  • Apply experience and judgment in selecting appropriate procedures for processing documents.
  • Interpret, select, and code information from multiple document formats.
  • Verify accuracy and completeness of entered data.
  • Identify discrepancies or inconsistencies and resolve routine issues within established guidelines.
  • Refer complex problems or unclear source material to supervisory personnel.
  • Maintain productivity and accuracy standards.
  • Perform routine data entry tasks as needed.
  • Maintain organized documentation and tracking logs.
  • Operate data entry systems and standard office software applications.
