Data Entry Operator-Blood Services VA, United States JOB DESCRIPTION Inova Blood Donor Services is looking for a dedicated Data Entry Operator to join the team located at 45745 Nokes Blvd #160, Sterling, VA 20166: This role will be Part Time Evenings Shift, Days will vary, 3:00pm or 4:00pm until 10:30pm or 11:30pm Inova is consistently ranked a national healthcare leader in safety, quality and patient experience. Job Responsibilities Executes data entry functions in the appropriate system from clinical data collection source documents. Identifies any incomplete/inaccurate source documents while returning them to the appropriate customer with the pertinent data for correction and has minimal data entry errors. Demonstrates knowledge and use of database software by performing data entry Keys and verifies source documents in an accurate/complete manner and within an appropriate keystroke rate for each type of document. Sorts source documents into appropriate batches by completing the batch control tickets throughout the batch life cycle. Ensures the accurate logging of source documents by date stamping documents on receipt and completion of processing. Additional Requirements: Working Hours: Part Time Evenings Shift, Days will vary, 3:00pm or 4:00pm until 10:30pm or 11:30pm Training: Will take place at 45745 Nokes Blvd #160, Sterling, VA 20166 Minimum Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent.
