About The Position

The Data Entry Clerk position is a seasonal role within the Energy department, aimed at supporting the Agency's needs by accurately inputting deliverable fuel invoices into the Energy database. This role involves ensuring the accuracy of invoice data, maintaining filing systems, and corresponding with vendors and staff as necessary.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Two years of experience in an office environment with data entry.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and computer databases.
  • Ability to follow both oral and written instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Verify invoice data for accuracy and compliance with DSS requirements.
  • Input invoice information into designated computer applications.
  • Ensure all invoices are date stamped, filed by date, and entered into the system within 2-3 days of receipt.
  • Create and maintain a filing system for all received and processed invoices.
  • Correspond with vendors, funders, and staff as required.
