The Data Entry Clerk position at Logmet LLC involves operating keyboard-controlled data entry devices to transcribe data into a suitable format for computer processing. Responsibilities
- Apply data entry, retrieval, transcribing, and filing procedures.
- Select procedures for interpreting, selecting, or coding items to be entered from documented sources.
- Maintain document quality as per Quality Assurance (QA) and regulatory requirements.
- Perform regular Foreign Object Damage (FOD) walk-downs.
- Comply with DHS/Department of Defense (DoD) processes and procedures.
- Maintain and control tools, reporting any missing or broken tools immediately.
- Inventory and inspect tools regularly and identify replacements for worn or broken tools.
- Clean work area and handle hazardous materials according to laws and regulations.
- Use Government computer systems for accessing technical references for airframe repairs.
Requirements
- Two years of documented experience operating keyboard-controlled data entry devices.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and other database applications.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Fluency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Basic computer skills for internet searches and document preparation.
