The Data Entry & Clerical Assistant will support the team by accurately entering, reviewing, and updating data across internal and/or customer-provided systems. This role is essential for ensuring data accuracy, timely processing, and compliance with established procedures. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in data entry, clerical work, or administrative support.
  • Strong communications with all levels of the organization, customers and vendors
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and general computer applications.
  • Experience working in databases, shared drives, or digital workflow tools.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Remote work environment requires reliable internet access.
  • May involve handling confidential or compliance-related documents.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with logistics, trade compliance, recordkeeping, or document auditing (optional if tailored to AES/EEI work).

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-volume data entry with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Review, verify, and update existing records for completeness and correctness.
  • Compare information between spreadsheets, databases, and documents to ensure consistency.
  • Perform clerical tasks such as document organization, file management, and digital record updates.
  • Always maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Communicate with supervisors or team members when discrepancies or missing information are identified.
  • Follow established procedures and workflows to ensure data accuracy and timely completion.
  • Assist with special projects or administrative tasks as needed.
