About The Position

Corporate Payroll Services is actively seeking experienced data entry and call center representatives for the payroll specialist job opening at our Maryland branch. This position handles a high volume of inbound and outbound customer support calls as well as data entry and payroll data processing for clients. This position's primary functions are to process payrolls for our clients on a daily basis and to provide customer service via phone and email on the accounts.

Requirements

• Basic mental math skills
• Strong data entry skills
• Great communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Basic understanding of spreadsheets and web browsers, as required
• Ability to work individually and in a team with tight deadlines
• Ability to handle high volume of customer service calls and requests

Responsibilities

• Data entry and import of data into system
• Review data for completeness and accuracy
• Report potential issues to customer(s)
• Calculate and process payroll related changes
• Research, escalate to support team and/or resolve customer or system problems
• Verify payroll output against reports
• Provide excellent customer service while handling high inbound call volume
• Provide excellent customer service via email support
