Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in healthcare data entry, administrative support, or medical office work.
  • Strong typing skills with excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and stay productive in a remote environment.
  • Familiarity with EMR platforms and healthcare terminology is beneficial.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of all patient information.

Responsibilities

  • Enter, update, and validate patient records, billing details, scheduling information, and administrative logs.
  • Perform remote document processing, including scanning, organizing, and indexing digital files.
  • Review database entries for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal standards.
  • Communicate with clinical and administrative staff to clarify discrepancies or obtain missing information.
  • Maintain standardized documentation workflows and follow HIPAA privacy guidelines.
  • Use remote systems and secure cloud databases to manage daily work tasks.
  • Assist with generating internal reports and supporting audits or quality reviews.
  • Collaborate with the team to improve documentation processes and identify data-related issues.
