Data Science Internship At Nasdaq, you ’ ll have the chance to start your career in an environment where learning, teamwork, and innovation come first. In this role, you ’ ll support our Data Access and Analytics team and gain hands-on experience with Eqlipse Intelligence Platform, a SaaS solution for enabling Financial Market Infrastructure organizations to unlock the full potential of their data. You don ’ t need to know everything on day one — we ’ ll help you build the skills, confidence, and network to grow your career.

  • Support our Data Engineering team with day-to-day tasks and contribute to ongoing initiatives.
  • Learn how to build out advanced analytics in a variety of financial assets and markets; design and develop data models to ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity throughout the data lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with teammates across different functions and regions.
  • Bring your ideas and curiosity to problem-solving and project work.
  • Develop your technical and professional skills through training and mentorship.
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in computer science or related area.
  • Eagerness to learn, ask questions, and take on new challenges.
  • Ability to work well with others and contribute to a team environment.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Curiosity about technology, finance, and global markets.
  • Basic skills in SQL, programing language such as Java, Python, or Scala.
  • Internship or project experience related to data analytics, data modeling or big data technologies.
  • Involvement in student organizations, volunteering, or leadership roles.
  • Familiarity with data analytics tools like Spark, DBT, Snowflake, Databricks, Monte Carlo, and Atlan.
