The Data Engineering Manager is a hands‑on, player‑coach leadership role responsible for guiding and developing a team of approximately six data engineers. This individual will serve as both a people leader and a technical lead, driving execution on large‑scale, foundational data initiatives while ensuring consistency, quality, and best practices across the engineering organization. This role exists due to continued growth within the data organization and the need for dedicated leadership to support engineers, drive delivery, and take ownership of major initiatives. The manager will frequently act as the technical lead on complex projects, owning execution, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring projects move forward efficiently. The Data Engineering Manager will collaborate closely with business partners, project managers, architects, and analytics teams to deliver scalable, reliable data solutions that support analytics, reporting, and data science. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, the ability to influence without authority, and a team‑first leadership mindset. This position reports to the director, and allows the broader leadership team to focus on strategic initiatives while this role ensures delivery excellence across data engineering efforts
