Requirements

• Requires a Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or a related technical field and 96 months of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
• Requires 96 months of experience involving scaling and managing 5 person teams.
• Project Management Leadership experience initiating and driving projects.
• Data architecture in designs, builds and contributes to services that reduce the complexity and time investment required to log data accurately and efficiently.
• Architects sophisticated multi-tier logical and physical models that reduce the time and complexity required to perform data modeling across a product or domain.
• Proficiency in SQL or similar languages and development in at least one scripting language such as Python and Perl.
• Experience with data pipelines, evaluating design and operational cost benefit trade offs in systems.
• Experience in data visualization, designing and building services that reduce the complexity and time investment required to prepare and manipulate data for visualization.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate activities and proactively drive the vision for BI and Data Warehousing across a product vertical.
• Build a high-quality BI and Data Warehousing team and design the team to scale.
• Manage data warehouse plans across a product vertical.
• Define the processes needed to achieve operational excellence in all areas, including project management and system reliability.
• Build cross-functional relationships with Data Scientists, Product Managers and Software Engineers to understand data needs and deliver on those needs.
• Drive the design, building, and launching of new data models and data pipelines in production.
• Manage development of data resources and support new product launches.
• Drive data quality across the product vertical and related business areas.
• Manage the delivery of high impact dashboards and data visualizations.
• Define and manage SLA's for all data sets and processes running in production.
