We're looking for a Data Engineering Intern in Raleigh, NC to join us in fulfilling our mission, while utilizing our values of excellence, improvement and connection. In addition to the multiple weekly events attended by all interns, you'll work alongside industry experts for a 12-week internship beginning May 19, 2025. As part of the Data Engineering team, you will be developing a mechanism to move data or transform data between applications which will allow business functions to consume data effectively and generate insights for business efficiencies. This is a dynamic and challenging opportunity to apply the latest technology in AWS and Snowflake to solve a variety of business matters. Enact's Internship Program provides an excellent opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in achieving business results while developing technical and professional skills. The internship program is a critical component of Enact's talent pipeline as we look to interns to provide cutting edge ideas and skills that will drive business success. Requirements

• Master's or PhD student in field such as Computer Science, Information systems, Engineering, etc.
• Hands-on experience developing solutions using Python, Spark, database query and management tools (SQL), in a cloud platform.
• Strong communication (oral, written, interpersonal, and presentation) skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with partners in analytics (Data science, BI) Pricing, Risk, Customer Solutions, and other functions to understand business problems related to data consumption.
• Develop data solutions using available tools and capabilities in AWS, Snowflake, Active Batch, etc.
• Ingest datasets from multiple sources to provide a playground for business in Snowflake.
• Communicate the technical implementation in a logical and understandable manner for business users consuming data at Enact.
