We are seeking a motivated and talented Data Engineering Intern to join our team. In this role you will get work on building scalable data pipelines and deploying them on our modern data stack. With this opportunity you will gain hands on experience in building required infrastructure for data integrations for optimizing data delivery and automating processes. Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Machine Learning, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with AWS technologies like S3, AWS Glue, Lambda, IAM roles and permissions
  • Basic understanding of cloud-based data platforms like Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery
  • Strong programming skills in Python, object-oriented programming, modular design, and API development
  • Experience with software engineering best practices, including version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and unit testing.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization tools like Docker.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Data engineering team to design, develop, and maintain data pipelines in cloud – native platforms using technologies like Python, AWS, Snowflake, Docker
  • Collaborate with analytics engineer and data scientists to build data ingestion pipelines coming from variety of sources.
  • Assist in automating workflows, monitoring and enhancing existing workflows to support data integration efforts.
  • Build CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, security scans and deployment processes.
  • Build solutions for data governance focusing on data quality, data security and data access controls.
