About The Position

DCI Marketing, Inc. is part of the global industrial organization Marmon Holdings, backed by Berkshire Hathaway. The company is focused on reimagining how brands engage with retail customers by designing and delivering immersive environments that combine physical fixtures with digital experiences. The DCI Marketing Data Team is seeking a highly motivated student intern for an individual contributor role in the Data and Analytics team. This position involves hands-on work to meet timelines and quality requirements, assisting in building a functional Analytics Center of Excellence practice in both custom and purchased platform environments.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer/Software Engineering
• 2+ years of experience in data-related technologies and architecture
• Experience with Snowflake DB (programming knowledge using Snowflake, SnowSight and Snowpipes) is a plus
• Experience in the use of machine learning methods such as linear regression, correlation, and statistical modeling
• Experience in writing complex, highly optimized SQL queries
• Experience in managing Data pipelines
• Google Analytics and Social Media Analytics experience is an advantage
• Prescriptive/predictive analytics experience is an advantage

Responsibilities

• Translate functional and non-functional requirements into effective designs and development specifications
• Help transform Data into Information, Knowledge, and Business Decisions
• Streamline dataflow pipelines across various programs and products
• Identify trends and patterns in data to increase the effectiveness of digital programs
• Create Data related documentation and visual communications
• Support Snowflake services and warehouse
