About The Position
The Data Engineering AVP will join the AIG Data Office, responsible for major data delivery project development, functional enhancement, and function as subject matter expert for technology selection. The person will work collaboratively with business, product owners and vendor partners to ensure successful delivery of data programs. This is a strategic role supporting mission critical financial functions. This includes leading technical resources, partnering with AIG Cloud team, and architecture teams to deliver cloud solutions that are secure, resilient, scalable & efficient. The person is responsible for leading deliverables in a highly outsourced model. The ideal candidate should have experience working on technology & product roadmaps to achieve the long-term objectives.
