In this job, you'll be responsible for creating and supporting analytical datamarts by developing data integration pipelines (ETL) sourcing from various databases and systems. The Data Engineering Advisor will develop programs using coding languages (i.e. Python, SQL, PROC, R, etc.) to create visualizations or analysis for stakeholders throughout the company. The candidate is expected to work on data architecture, data engineering solutions, and best practices for analyzing large datasets, perform data mining activities to derive data insights: work with OLAP systems such as Snowflake, GCP and others. The Data Engineering Advisor will also investigate emerging technologies and create pilot environments for use, and will participate in rapid prototyping, evaluating, and recommending data engineering technologies and solutions.
