At SteerBridge Strategies, we’re harnessing the power of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) to transform parts availability, reduce maintenance downtime, and enhance operational readiness across the Department of Defense. Our AI/ML Spares Project, developed in collaboration with the National Center for Manufacturing Sciences (NCMS), is leading the way in advanced computational analytics. This initiative supports national security, strengthens defense supply chains, and drives innovation across the aerospace sector. As a Data Engineer on this project, you’ll work with high-impact datasets and advanced analytics pipelines that are redefining how the U.S. military sustains mission readiness.

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL workflows for analytics and machine learning applications.
  • Work with Python (Pandas, DataFrames) and SQL to manage and optimize structured data.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to support predictive modeling and AI/ML integration.
  • Develop and maintain data models, schemas, and documentation.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security in accordance with federal standards.
  • Support the deployment of solutions in a cloud-based environment (AWS preferred).
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant data engineering or software development experience.
  • Active security clearance or ability to obtain one.
  • Proficiency in Python (Pandas, DataFrames) and SQL for structured data management.
  • Experience with AWS Glue, S3, and Redshift or similar ETL pipeline and data warehouse technologies.
  • Familiarity with data analytics, machine learning, or AI integration.
  • Experience supporting federal or defense-related projects.
